Ford Fiesta "Facelift" is now using Ecoboost 1,000cc engine


After more than four years into one of the world's most successful hatchback, Ford Motor Co. finally officially released the facelift Fiesta at Ford Go Further events in Amsterdam, Netherlands, today. Fiesta's new face looks more aggressive, but many feel that the design of the grille-owned Aston Martin or can be equated with other Ford models, Mondeo.

Looks forward, the main vent enlarged the dam water (second grille) is smaller. This change makes looks much more aggressive. The main lights also changed and now features LED lights. In hindsight, stop lights were also replaced with a sharper bend lines.

"The Fiesta is one of the preferred compact car for five decades. Now more sporty design and is liked by the fans and reinforce Fiesta compact car as the most successful in the world," believes Martin Smith, Executive Design Director, Ford of Europe.

Addition of the Fiesta facelift, is a MyKey system, Ford SYNC, the voice-enabled connectivity to the Active City Stop or automatic brakes help drivers avoid collisions at low speeds.

Now, the new Fiesta is also equipped with a EcoBoost 1,000 cc engine that gets predicate as "International Engine of the Year" 2012. This machine is claimed to be the most efficient in its class and produces power 81 PS@6.000 rpm.
